‘Romodels’ Learner Showcase- “You can’t be what you don’t see”
Across the school learners took part in our first ‘Romodels’ showcase. ‘Romodels’ takes learners on a journey of career exploration and self-discovery. At the start of each half term learners across the school focus on a career that they might not have known even existed.
Learners across the school focussed on the incredible work of a Marine Ecologist.
Marine ecologists are scientists who study the ocean and the animals and plants that live there. They explore coral reefs, beaches, and deep seas to learn how these creatures survive and how they all work together. Marine ecologists help protect sea turtles, dolphins, fish, and even tiny plankton. They also look at how pollution and climate change affect the ocean. By studying the ocean, marine ecologists find ways to keep it healthy and safe for all living things. Their work is very important because the ocean is a home to many animals and helps keep our planet healthy too!
